After importing payroll and time data, there is one additional step required before your allocation will populate: you must manually create a Timesheet inside the Time Activity section. Skipping this step is the most common reason allocations appear empty even when all data has been imported correctly.
|
⚠ Important: Your allocation will not populate until a Timesheet has been created, regardless of whether payroll and time data have already been imported. |
Steps
- Navigate to the Time Activity
You can find this in the main navigation menu of CostAllocation Pro.
- Click the Create Timesheet
This button must be clicked to generate the timesheet structure that the allocation engine reads from. Simply importing data does not trigger this automatically.
- Verify that the allocation has populated.
Once the Timesheet has been created, return to your allocation view. The data from your imported payroll and time records should now appear.
